The SMART+ Interregional Partner Forum took place on November 16, 2010 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Potential applicants for SMART+ subprojects were invited to the platform event to build partnerships with institutions from other SMART+ partner regions for joint subproject proposals.
The event began with several presentations introducing the SMART+ mini-programme, the thematic priorities of the call and the formal criteria for subproject applications, giving the potential applicants the opportunity to ask specific questions. In the afternoon, the participants had time to discuss their project ideas with their potential partners from other regions and to futher develop their applications. The SMART+ partners from all six partner regions as well as regional experts were present and assisted the participants in the optimisation of their proposals.
