Sub-project kick-off meeting in Kozani
On May 17th and 18th, the official kick-off meeting of the SMART+ sub-projects took place in Kozani (Greece).
On May 17th and 18th, the official kick-off meeting of the SMART+ sub-projects took place in Kozani (Greece).
The event served in part as an information meeting where the sub-project participants were introduced to the requirements of the SMART+ mini-programme and the challenges of international project coordination.
Furthermore, the event was aimed to foster thematic exchange among the sub-projects and to identify potential synergies and possible ways to cooperate.

SMART + is a mini-program on Entrepreneurship and Innovation of SMEs at the regional level. The project is funded by the INTERREG IVC, financed by the European Union’s Regional Development Fund, helps Regions of Europe to work together for sharing experiences and good practices in the areas of innovation, the knowledge economy, the environment and risk prevention. SMART + was approved by the Monitoring Committee INTERREG IVC on November 5th, 2009.
