Successful start in the search for good practices: The first SMART+ Conference in Krakow
The I SMART+ Interregional Conference which was held in Krakow on 13th of October 2011, attracted almost 80 stakeholders – policy makers, researchers, academics and experts in the field of R&D and entrepreneurship.
The I SMART+ Interregional Conference which was held in Krakow on 13th of October 2011, attracted almost 80 stakeholders – policy makers, researchers, academics and experts in the field of R&D and entrepreneurship. The conference hosted attendees from European regions of Aragon, Saxony, Małopolska, Western Macedonia, Cluj County and South – East Bulgaria cooperating within SMART+ project, as well as from other regions in Poland and EU.
The event was a perfect platform to discover good practices in the SMART+ partner regions and to share knowledge and experiences on how to deliver the innovative economy development.
During the first day of the SMART+ interregional meeting (12th of October), project partners and subprojects representatives had opportunity to get to know an outstanding local example of the SMEs and R&D support by visiting the LifeScience Park Complex located in Krakow.
