1st SMART+ Capitalisation Workshop in Region of Western Macedonia

The Workshop which was held in Kozani on 7th of June 2012 attracted almost 40 stakeholders – policy makers, researchers, academics and experts in the field of R&D and entrepreneurship, project coordinators and subprojects’ partners.

The Workshop which was held in Kozani on 7th of June 2012 attracted almost 40 stakeholders – policy makers, researchers, academics and experts in the field of R&D and entrepreneurship, project coordinators and subprojects’ partners. 

During the workshop the attendees had the chance to be informed about the progress and so far results of subprojects’ implementation. Moreover, local businessmen had the opportunity to transfer their knowledge, experience and good practices that were identified in relation to the scope and project objectives.
 
The SMART+ Steering Committee will later decide on which practices will be included in the SMART+ SMEs Charta.

SMART + is a mini-program on Entrepreneurship and Innovation of SMEs at the regional level. The project is funded by the INTERREG IVC, financed by the European Union’s Regional Development Fund, helps Regions of Europe to work together for sharing experiences and good practices in the areas of innovation, the knowledge economy, the environment and risk prevention. SMART + was approved by the Monitoring Committee INTERREG IVC on November 5th, 2009.
